Wearable Art | Cummerbunds & Bow Ties
It's been awhile since I last blogged. I've been super busy expanding my business. Original paintings, giclee prints on paper and canvas, wallpapers, fabrics, pillows and now, cummerbunds and bow ties.
My husband surprised me at our wedding last October with a gorgeous set of cummerbunds and bow ties made out of my fabric for the wedding party. He got the fabric from one of my clients who had a couple of extra yards without me knowing. I was shocked and surprised and LOVED it. It was so different and original.
A few months after our wedding, I decided to start researching the best way to produce these sets. After many long weeks of research, I found someone to produce them and have launched 8 styles with a few more on the way. In addition to the sets, I have also added individual bow ties. The sets are great for wedding parties to black tie events. It is wearable art-- the patterns created from sections of my original art and printed on silk crepe de chine.
If you are getting married and want your wedding party to wear my cummerbunds and bow ties, please allow 4 weeks for production. We are happy to customize the color and the pattern to fit your special day.
Cummerbund & Bow Tie Sets are adjustable. The bow tie fits 13 3/4-18" neck and the cummerbunds fit 32-42" waist.
